Killure Bridge Nursing Home is a home away from home. This locally owned home is renowned for its warm and friendly staff and the excellent care provided to residents. The Nursing Home is surrounded by 4 acres of landscaped gardens and has an interior floor area of 33,000 sq. ft. Our main aim is to provide all our residents with as much home comfort as possible, while still encouraging independent living in conjunction with our every service.
We acknowledge that as people differ, so too do their needs. Depending on the physical and cognitive needs of a person, we will guide you as to the best care options available.
The spacious bedrooms are cheerful, bright and airy. Most rooms are en-suite, with some shared rooms for those who prefer company. Each Resident has their own telephone (for incoming calls), double built in wardrobe, ample space for personal items and a variety of views from each bedroom.

Our varied menu is both appealing and nutritionally balanced. There is always a choice on the menu. Special diets such as diabetic, low cholesterol etc are also catered for. We endeavour to cater for the individual dietary needs of each residents and as far as possible the needs of our visitors.

Our beautifully landscaped gardens complement the Nursing Homes own private lake, named Suibhneas, which is the Irish for “calm”. The lake contains water features including a fountain, weeping rock and a duck house.

Killure Bridge Nursing Home has several large living areas. Our south facing Sun Room provides a place for residents to enjoy the great views and benefit from the secure patio area. Living areas include a Library, Private Dining Area, Oratory, Sitting Room, Sunroom and more.
